Devin Thomas (born November 15, 1986 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. Devin Thomas played college football at Michigan State. Thomas was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the second round (34th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. On July 18, he agreed to a four-year 4.8 million contract that included roughly $2.7 million in guaranteed money. Thomas is represented by Drew Rosenhaus. In 2008, Devin Thomas won the NFL Rookie’s Madden Bowl.Thomas was sidelined much of his rookie preseason due to a hamstring injury which occurred during training camp. Thomas made his NFL rookie preseason debut against the New York Jets on August 16. He posted his highest career receiving yards in a game on week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, catching two receptions for 28 yards, with his longest being 16. Devin Thomas scored his first career touchdown on November 30, 2008, on a 29 yard run against the New York Giants. He scored his first career receiving touchdown on October 26, 2009 on a 2 yard throw from Jason Campbell against the Philadelphia Eagles. Devin Thomas had his first 100 yard receiving game on December 6, 2009 against the New Orleans Saints, this was also his first two touchdown game in the NFL.
